Tell the FCC to Reject the Sinclair-Tribune Merger!
The pending merger between the Sinclair Broadcast Group and Tribune Media would create a media monopoly that would expose a staggering 72 percent of American households to partisan news coverage from their local news. Sinclair confirmed its intention to infiltrate America’s local news stations with partisan programming by mandating its networks to air nine segments each week from a conservative commentator who worked on Trump’s campaign and in his White House. We believe that local news should be just that – locally produced coverage from trusted, independent reporters. We can’t let a self-interested corporation with a partisan political agenda take over our local news.
