ICYMI: Sinclair Surrogate Boris Epshteyn Spotted During White House Visit

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In case you missed it, Sinclair Broadcast Group media surrogate Boris Epshteyn was spotted heading into the West Wing of the White House yesterday, as reported on Twitter by The Guardian journalist Ben Jacobs. Epshteyn is among current and former Trump staffers who have retained legal counsel following the investigation into administration ties to Russia.

Ben Jacobs Tweet

Epshteyn has a long history with President Trump and his family, though Sinclair Broadcast Group is currently trying to distance itself from partisan accusations as it seeks to finalize a $3.9 billion merger deal with Tribune Media.

Sinclair recently announced that it will require stations to run commentary from Epshteyn nine times a week.
