SPOTTED: Mobile Billboard on Capitol Hill Hits #DebtTrapDebbie Over Support for Payday Lenders

The campaign to hold Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz accountable for undermining President Obama’s work to rein in predatory payday lenders is escalating in the nation’s capital. A mobile billboard is making its presence felt on Capitol Hill carrying a simple message: Debt Trap Debbie is on the side of payday lenders, not President Obama. The mobile billboard was spotted outside Wasserman Schultz’s office at the Democratic National Committee this morning. Previously, Allied Progress has run television ads and put up billboards in the Congresswoman’s South Florida district calling on her to stop undermining the President’s efforts.
