Sen. Carper Should Defend, Not Destroy, the Consumer Bureau

Tell Sen. Tom Carper to Stand with Elizabeth Warren and Consumers, not Donald Trump and Wall Street.

Sen. Tom Carper (D-DE) recently said he was open to transforming the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) championed by Elizabeth Warren, into a commission. Experts and consumer groups have opposed efforts to do this for years, saying such a move would cripple the Consumer Bureau.

With the White House being filled by Goldman Sachs executives and Wall Street insiders, we need a strong Consumer Bureau now more than ever. Tell Sen. Carper to oppose efforts to weaken the CFPB.
